The amplifier is in excellent
condition cosmetically and operationally and is available
for pickup in the Los Angeles area or for shipping in the
continental USA only since it is very heavy and the tubes
need to be packed separately. It comes with a protective
metal cover on the top.
The tube design
may be very obvious to those who are Marantz fans as their
older similar unit typically sells for $5,000 on eBay.
The two EL-34
tube on each channel are configured in parallel push-pull
mode with big current going through it. This traditional
design gives you perfect Hi Fidelity voice reproduction on
speakers with sweet and smooth melody.
